- A photo of the tub, and one of the way out to the street: gate, steps, slope.
- Its size: seats two or three, four to six, or bigger.
- Whether it’s drained and the power is disconnected.
- Anything built around it: a deck, steps, a cover lifter.

Before we come
- Drain it completely a day or two ahead.
- Have an electrician disconnect the power before we come. We don’t do electrical work.
- Open gates and move planters or furniture out of the path.
Where it goes
A hot tub is a fiberglass or acrylic shell on a wood frame with a pump and heater, and there’s no recycling program for the shell, so it goes to a permitted disposal site. The cover, steps and cover lifter can go on the same trip; put them in the photo and they’re part of the price.

Do you disconnect the electrical?
No. Have an electrician disconnect it before pickup day. We haul the tub once it’s drained and disconnected.
Why isn’t the hot tub on the posted price list?
The posted list is by how much of our 12×7 trailer a load fills. A hot tub can weigh more than the rest of a full load, so a flat per-load price wouldn't be fair either way.
